Grandpa, Can I Have a Hug? is a touching children’s story that follows siblings Ella and Linus as they navigate changes in their relationship with their beloved Grandpa, who has Alzheimer’s. “Ang liwanag namin ay hindi lang mula sa aming mga katawan. Ang tunay na liwanag ay galing sa kabutihang loob at pagtulong sa iba,” paliwanag ng alitaptap.

Isang araw, habang naglalakad si Ella sa kalsada, nakita niyang may batang lalaki na nahulog at nadapa. Mabilis siyang lumapit at tinulungan ang bata.

“Salamat, Ella!” sabi ng bata habang tumayo.

Habang naglalakad sila papunta sa kanilang mga bahay, napansin ni Ella na para bang may mga alitaptap na nagsimula ulit magliyab sa paligid nila, mas maliwanag kaysa dati.

“Napansin mo ba iyon? Parang may mga alitaptap na lumilipad sa paligid natin,” tanong ng batang lalaki.
