Being tired can makes tics worse. So make sure to get a full night's rest! Let it out! Holding back a tic can just turn it into a ticking bomb, waiting to explode. As she got better and stronger every day, I realized how much wisdom we can learn from animals like Emmi. She reminded me that even though life can be tough and challenging, we should never give up hope. Just like Emmi, we should always keep fighting and look for the light at the end of the tunnel. Emmi also taught me the importance of kindness and compassion towards all living beings. Just like I rescued Emmi, we should always be there to help our furry friends in need. After all that fun, it was bath time! Splashy splashy, all clean! Then, snuggle time! You got to sleep with Mommy on a cozy bed on the floor. Uh oh, Mommy wasn't feeling well! She went to the doctor and got a boo-boo in her tummy all better. But the doctor said no more snuggles for a little while. Don't worry, though! Daddy will give you big hugs and sleep with you in your bed for a few nights. Mommy will come read you lots of stories to help you fall asleep! Soon, Mommy will be all better, and you can all have yummy strawberries, go on zoo adventures, and cuddle together for sleep time again!

Ben had a big red hat. He got it from his dad. Ben wore the hat on a hot, sunny day. Ben ran to the park. He met his pal, Sam. Sam had a pet dog, Pip. "I like your big red hat!" said Sam. "Thanks!" said Ben. "Do you want to try it?" Sam put on the hat. "It is too big!" he said. Pip barked and ran in a zig-zag. Then, a big gust of wind came! It took the hat off Sam’s head. "Oh no!" said Ben. "My hat!" The hat went up, up, up. Then it went down, down, down. It landed in a tree. "How can we get it?" asked Sam. Pip jumped and jumped, but he could not get the hat. "I have an idea!" said Ben. He got a big stick. He poked the hat. Plop! The hat fell down. Ben put it back on his head. "Hooray!" said Sam. "The big red hat is back!" Tuffy was a great dog. he was actually part of the family. Every evening when we ate, he was always sitting beside the table waiting on his portion of the food. He was our friend and adventurer. He would go with Rusty every day and deliver newspapers and always walk Rusty and Lisha to the bus stop. When the bus came home, he came running to walk with us back home. Everyone in the neighborhood loved Tuffy. He would go to the Wertz's house and they would give him snacks. He did this all over the neighborhood. Rusty's parents had a creek in their backyard and Tuffy loved to play in the creek. Tuffy had 2 great dog friends, Flury and Clementine. They woiuld play together for hours. When Tuffy would go off for a few days and then come home, Mother would fuss at him and Tuffy acted like hje knew what she was saying. Tuffy was the best!!
