What are you doing?” “We’re having a muddy fun time!” Bud said, splashing more mud. Pup wagged his tail. “I want to join!” Gus and Bud laughed. “Okay, Pup! Jump in!” Pup jumped right into the puddle, sending mud flying. They all rolled and played until they were covered in mud from head to toe. After a while, they decided it was time to clean up. “Let’s go back to my house,” said Gus. “We can wash off in the tub!” When they got to Gus's house, his mom chuckled at the sight of the muddy friends. “Oh my! What happened to you three?” “We had the best fun in the puddle!” Gus exclaimed, grinning. His mom smiled and filled the tub with warm water. “Alright, muddy buddies, it’s bath time!” After their bath, Gus, Bud, and Pup sat together on the porch, drying off in the sun. “That was the best day ever!” Bud said. “Let’s do it again tomorrow!” Gus replied, his eyes sparkling with excitement. And so, every sunny day, they would jump in the puddles, making more muddy memories together. The End

I can't tell you how often I wish my lifelong trial would be over and how often I literally ask God why he is making me go through all this pain even I KNOW he could take it away... Then I remember the little and big wins along the way and the things I have learned and gained because of pain I am constantly in. God absolutely tells me where to step, but I haven't ever experienced the feeling of him completely lifting me to the top of the playground. I feel him watching me and cheering me along. Then I do something impossible and I jump up and down with joy saying "I did it!" and I know he's so proud of me. And just like little Lex I think to myself, "Oh that’s why you let us do hard things." Let's not forget to let God guide us. Thank God for the miracles we experience every day
