Mom and Dad’s incredible journey begins in Portugal, where they meet in 2019 at a 3D design course—Mom was 28 and teaching interior design classes, and Dad, 27, was dreaming of becoming an architect in Canada. Page 1 On a sunny day, Alex, Lily, and Sam went on a school trip to Lung Yeuk Tau! They heard there were many interesting stories there. Page 2 When they arrived at Lung Yeuk Tau, they first saw a mountain that looked like a dragon. Everyone exclaimed, “What a beautiful place!” They couldn't wait to explore the secrets of the area. Page 3 Alex suggested they visit the Old Wai village. There were many old buildings, and the walls had small holes to see outside. The kids felt like they were in a storybook. Page 4 In the village, they met an uncle who told them the history of Lung Yeuk Tau. The kids listened eagerly, especially about the Tang family and the pirates. Page 5 Next, they went to the Tin Hau Temple and saw the statue and ancient bells. Lily asked, “What are those bells for?” The uncle explained, “They are used to pray for safety!” Page 6 The kids decided to have lunch in front of the temple. The uncle shared some traditional snacks with them, and they felt the warmth of Lung Yeuk Tau's culture. Page 7 After lunch, they visited the Song Ling Tang Temple. Sam said, “This place is so interesting! We can learn a lot about history here.” Everyone agreed and felt very happy. Page 8 At the end, the kids took a group photo on the mountain, promising to come back to Lung Yeuk Tau for more adventures. They headed home with wonderful memories. Gabby is 7 years old, she was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus erythematosus and i want to write a childrens book trying to explain the disease to her in simple terms, how the disease works and what are the triggers so she can avoid them but explain it in terms of a kid at 7 years of age would understand, her triggers are usually the sun, infections and stress, her symptoms are usually pain in her tummy, blood clots and bruising in her hands and feet, recently she had a chest infection that got really bad she had to be in ICU where the doctors had to "turn off" her immune system because it was attacking her heart, kidneys, lungs and brain, she had to be sedated (like sleeping beauty) so she can be intibated and treated with steroids and antibiotics, the story should be like an adventure and not scary, she can be a detective in the story trying to get to know her disease and this is part 1

HAZEL STEPPED IN AN ANT BED AND SHE BEGAN TO SCREAM. HER FATHER RAN OVER TO SEE WHAT WAS WRONG. HAZEL HE NOTICES SHE HAD ANTS ON HER. HE BRUSED THEM OFF AND WHIPPED AWAY HER TEARS. HE TOLD HAZEL HE WILL PUT SOME CREAM ON HER BITES AND THEY WILL FEEL BETTER. HE BEGAN TO EXPLAIN TO HAZEL ABOUT THE ANTS AND HOW THEY ARE NEEDED ON EARTH. HAZELED NODDED WITH A SMILE AND STATED THAT SHE WILL BE MORE CAREFUL AND TO LOOK OUT FOR THE ANTS.
