Zog, um pequeno ET de 9 anos, vivia no distante planeta Zoltron e tinha uma paixão por estudar a biodiversidade da Terra. Ele ficava intrigado ao ver tantas espécies desaparecerem e, um dia, recebeu uma missão especial: visitar a Terra para descobrir o que estava acontecendo. Empolgado, Zog viajou para a Terra em sua nave espacial. Ao aterrissar, encontrou quatro crianças humanas: Yasmin, Dante, Luísa e Bento. Eles ficaram surpresos ao conhecer um extraterrestre, e Zog, maravilhado, começou a explorar o ambiente com eles.
