She notices the flowers along the riverbank and listens to the birds singing. As Lulu and Cici rush ahead, they miss the little details around them. Kiki smiles, realizing how much they miss. Kiki says, "Lulu, Cici, slow down for a moment. Look at these flowers, listen to the birds sing. Slowing down helps us see more beauty." Cici pauses, “I never notice this before. It’s all so beautiful.” Lulu nods, “I think slowing down is a waste of time, but now we enjoy so much more.” After slowing down, they enjoy the journey more, realizing that taking their time on the river brings peace and happiness.

Bella enjoys her life as an only child living with mom and dad. She does not want things to change. With a new sibling on the way, Bella becomes very upset and worried mom and dad will forget about her. As predicted, when her new sibling arrives, he receives all of the attention from everyone. However, to Bella's surprise, her new sibling comforts her in a time of distress. She then begins to realize the importance of family.

Miss Emily is a Special Education teacher. Helena and Luke are students in Miss Eve's class. Miss Emily has put Helena and Luke in a group together. They will be working with Miss Emily in Miss Eve's classroom 2 days a week on Monday and Thursday. They will learn how to manage their emotions like learning how to take deep breaths when they are upset, asking for help when they need an adult to help them calm down and making new friends! Helena and Luke don't really know each other. But, they end up learning a lot about each other through a conversation with Miss Emily. Helena loves puzzles, books and coloring. Luke loves playing with trains and running on the play ground. In the end, they love being in a group together and they are going to have a fun year with Miss Emily.

The next day, Arzhel's dad took him inside the house of worship. Inside, they saw a leader called a “Pastor” (or priest) teaching people about good things. Arzhel's dad said, “He is the leader who helps us understand God’s words.” As they walked around, Arzhel saw workers cleaning, arranging chairs, and taking care of the plants in the garden. “They are the workers who help our leader keep the house of worship clean and beautiful,” Arzhel's dad said.

Every Halloween a young witch travels to cozy Halloween neighborhoods to trade out candy for a toy. This year there are more kiddos trading in their candy than ever before! Kevin a kid with wild hair and his friends go to a soccer game. When the game starts a player kicks the ball at Kevin. Kevin kicks it back and scores a goal his friends congratulate him. Then in the next play one of Kevin’s friends passes the ball to Kevin and Kevin shoots the ball and misses. His friends tell him that he is bad and to get off the team. Kevin go to a tree and falls asleep. He wakes up in a strange place then a clone of him walks to him and welcomes him to the dream world. He shows him that he is going to be a great soccer player but only if he tried. Then he shows him how to get out of the dream world. And Kevin goes and rejoins the team and his friends apologize.

This one in particular she is learning about countries and exciting things about different countries and languages. In this book she goes to china and learns how to say hello in Manderin and learns about food and the dragon festival.

One day, there were two siblings named Michii and Yuna. They had a plan to planting beans in their fields. “Please, sow some of these sprouts in the pots that are already in our fields!” Their mom told them to plant the green beans in pots in the field. The next day, they returned to the field to see the progress of the green beans they had planted yesterday. However, the mung bean plants planted by michii have not experienced the slightest growth, in contrast to Yuna's plants which have already sprouted two small leaves on their shoots. Yuna laughed at michii's plants that failed to grow. “Hahaha, your green beans don't have any progress to grow!” Yuna laughed when she seeing Michii’s plants because they don't have roots or leaves. Michii was saddened and disappointed to hear this, and even more so when he saw that his green bean plants were not growing at all. Michii replanted his green beans with new green beans, fertilized them, and watered them until the soil was moist enough. After a few days of this activity, Michii's green beans now grew with long roots, and quite a lot of leaves. His mother was proud when she heard his story when he returned from the field.
