One day Sammy brought up the fact that they hadn’t gotten rain for a while. Flipp agreed but they shrugged it off and continued to play. They continued to think to themselves that it would rain but after a week they still hadn’t gotten rain. Their pond began to dry up. One day Sammy and Flipp woke up and when they walked down to their pond excited to play, they were met with a dry hole. What was once their pond was now a giant muddy hole. Sammy couldn’t believe it “what are we going to do without a pond?” he muttered. Flipp began to say, “maybe it will rain and then it will fill back up”. Sammy agreed and he and Flipp sat in their muddy hole waiting for even the slightest drop of rain. Days passed without any rain the days were filled with boredom, Sammy began to ask, “will it ever rain?” Flipp responded “it will one day we just have to be patient”. One day while Flipp was curled up and Sammy was staring at the sky, Sammy felt a small drop on his forehead. “Flipp get up I felt a drop!” he screamed, Flipp perked up and looked at the sky more drops began to fall. They both stood up and started leaping with joy as it began to rain harder and harder. They watched as their pond slowly filled back up Sammy yelled “cannon ball!” and jumped in, Flipp watched and couldn’t wait any longer and then he splashed into their pond. They both splashed each other as the rain began to fall even harder. Every day they would play in their pond, and it continued to rain every day for them and they never had to worry about a dry pond again.

One morning Juliet woke up earlier than usual. She was very excited because today she and her parents, Sergei and Tilly, were going to visit her Uncle Peter's farm. It was her favourite place! They quickly got ready and set off. ‘I can't wait to see all the animals!’ Juliet said happily. ‘Don't worry, you'll see them soon!’ smiled Sergei. Page 2: Meeting the animals At the farm, Uncle Peter was waiting for them at the gate. ‘Hello, Juliet, are you ready for a new adventure?’ - he asked. Juliet quickly ran to the paddock where her new friends were waiting: Milka the cow, Windy the horse, Clucky the chicken and a little piglet called Snuffle. All the animals were very friendly. ‘Oh, this little piggy is so funny!’ - Juliet laughed. Page 3: The little helper Uncle Peter asked Juliet to help him with the chores. ‘Do you want to feed the chickens?’ he asked. ‘Sure!’ Juliet replied. She took a bucket of grain and began to feed the chickens. They clucked happily, and the little yellow chicks ran after their mother. Juliet was happy to watch them. Juliet enjoyed watching them and felt like a real farmer. Page 4: Riding a horse After lunch, Uncle Peter invited Juliet to ride his horse, Windy. ‘I've always wanted to do that!’ - Juliet said. She climbed on Windy's back and the horse began to trot gently across the green field. Juliet held on to his mane and laughed with delight as the wind blew her hair. Page 5: Returning home After a fun day at the farm, Juliet, Sergei and Tilly said goodbye to Uncle Peter and his animals. ‘This was the best day!’ - Juliet said. ‘Come back again, there are always new adventures waiting for you!’ - said Uncle Peter. Immediately, they started following the map. 5. Until they found a big river. They had to pass the bridge over the river. Unfortunately, They did not know the bridge was broken. The rabbit stucked and fell down into the river. 6.The squirrel was worried. He tried to find someone could help. Luckily, he met a fish.” Please help my friend he fell down into the river” squirrel said. Then The fish replied “ Yes, I will”. 7. The fish became bigger the he asked the squirrel up on his back. Finally, The rabbit was found. The squirrel and the rabbit continue their way. The fish accompanied them into the waterfall. 8. Finally, They arrived in the magic waterfall. They also thanked the fish which helped them. The rabbit and the squirrel enjoy the waterfall scenery.

A gorilla lives in a zoo. Her best friend is a squirrel who stays with her in her habitat. Squirrel is feeling sad on this day. Gorilla encourages him to allow himself to feel that way and not to try to figure it out. Squirrel likes this idea and feels better already. Gorilla asks Squirrel to remind him of what she just told him then next time she is feeling sad.

Julie woke up early Monday morning, ready for first grade. As she got ready for school, she noticed something strange happening to her body. She felt different, and it made her uncomfortable. Feeling alone and confused, she didn't want to go to school. Tears welled up in her eyes as she begged to stay home. However, as Julie slowly walked towards her classroom, she spotted something bright on the ground. It was an orange glitter ball, and she felt a sense of wonder and joy as she picked it up. Holding onto her new found treasure tightly, she entered the classroom. Throughout the morning, Julie was distracted by the ball, finding comfort in its sparkle whenever she felt lost or confused about her changing body. But during Grammar, she accidentally dropped the ball, and it rolled away where she couldn't reach it. Julie felt her heart sink, knowing she had lost her special prize. She couldn't bring herself to tell anyone about it, as it was her secret source of happiness and comfort. The teacher noticed Julie's tears and reminded her that she was special and did not need a ball to remind her of that and encouraged her to pay attention in class the next day.
