Sofía, a girl from Mexico City, introduces her best friend, little brother, and favorite history teacher, who shares the same red backpack as her. One day, after attending her friend’s birthday party and visiting the park, Sofía realizes her backpack is missing. As she searches for it, she notices a suspicious man following her. At home, her mother scolds her for losing it, but things take a turn when two threatening men arrive, demanding an "artifact." To her shock, she discovers that her dog has been playing with it—he must have found it in her bag earlier. Fearing for her safety, she grabs her brother and the dog and rushes to her teacher for help. At school, they realize that Sofía and her teacher accidentally switched backpacks, and the artifact belongs to the teacher. After uncovering a criminal plot linked to the math teacher’s brother, they take the artifact to the museum, and the police arrest the criminals.

We can keep Dad’s love inside.” Page 7-8 I look up at her. “What’s a memory box?” Mom sits beside me. “It’s a special place where we can keep things that remind us of Dad.” Page 9-10 I think about it and nod. “I like that idea.” Page 11-12 We look in the basement and find a box. I run my hand over the lid. “Let’s decorate it. I want it to look just right.” Page 13-14 I draw a heart, and Mom helps me write “I love Dad.” Now our box is ready. Page 15-16 We look for Dad’s things. I find his football jersey and hold it close. “It smells like him.” Page 17-18 We find football tickets. I smile. “I remember that game—it was so fun!” Page 19-20 I find a shiny rock. Me and Dad found this on the beach. “It’s lucky.” Page 21-22 I put everything inside the box and close the lid. “Now I have a box of love.” Page 23-24 The next morning, I open the box. I take out Dad’s jersey and hold it tight. I feel connected to him. Page 25-26 Then I look at the rock and remember our trip to the beach. I smile. Mom hugs me. “Dad isn’t here, but love never leaves.” I close the box and hold it close. Dad will always be with me.

Mabel was 2 ½ years old, full of energy and giggles. Her little brother, Henry, had just learned to crawl. Aegon, their fluffy black Maltipoo, always watched over them. And Daddy? Well, Daddy was the bravest of them all. One afternoon, the living room turned into a magical playground. Daddy helped the kids pull all the pillows off the big grey couch. They built castles, bridges, and mountains. Mabel jumped, Henry crawled, and Aegon wiggled his tail. Daddy lay on the floor, looking at his phone. He was deep in thought when he heard it. Squish. Smoosh. Then—warmth. Right on his neck. Daddy turned slowly. Mabel stood nearby, bouncing on the pillows, her face full of laughter. But something was… off. Her diaper had lost the battle. And Henry? Sweet, curious Henry had found a surprise. Daddy’s eyes went wide. Henry was holding the poop. Not just holding it—squeezing it. And before Daddy could react—plop! Henry placed it right on Daddy’s neck. "I HAVE POOP ON MY NECK! AHHHHH!" Daddy shouted, leaping up. Henry squealed with laughter. Mabel rolled on the floor, laughing so hard she could barely breathe. Even Aegon barked in surprise. Daddy scooped up his giggling, poop-covered son and rushed to the bathroom. He scrubbed Henry’s hands, wiped his own neck, and sighed. Mabel was still in the living room, laughing and laughing. From that day on, Daddy had a new name. Poop Neck. “Daddy,” Mabel would say, grinning, “you’re Poop Neck!” And every time, Daddy would shake his head, smile, and pull them both into a hug. Daddy said, “I love you forever and forever. No matter what. Even if…” He paused, narrowing his eyes at Henry. “…you put poop on my neck.” And the house filled with laughter once again. The End.
